Can We Use ASUS ROG Logo To Design Case

KING_DRANZER

I plan on building a gaming PC, on which I will be spending a good amount of money. I was planning on getting custom case for that build, the case would be based on ROG theme which will come with ROG logo on it. I wanted to know if I could use the ROG logo for the build.

Components is the area where I am thinking of what to do. As I have to save more money now probably I should wait till Skylake-X release in Q1/Q2 2017. And if I plan on going to Skylake-X probably I will go for TITAN X PASCAL 4-Way SLI if that route becomes more clear and doable.

Water cooling loop. As there is space to use 6 x 480mm rads if I go for 2 GPUs then I will use 1 Rad each for GPUs and 2 Rads for CPU. But if I use 4 GPUs then I will use 1 Rad each for GPUs and 1 Rad for CPU(or should I use 2).

For water cooling I will be using EKWB.

Wow you are going all out !

It would probably be best to just go with 2-way sli, as far as I'm aware Nvidia is only allowing 2-way sli with games and 3 - 4 way sli for certain benchmarks with pascal.

You won't need a 480 radiator for each gpu, you could use one 480 rad for two gpu's and one for your cpu or you could put two pascal Titans and your cpu all on one 480 radiator. You don't need to go overboard with the radiators unless of course you want to. 🙂

Skylake-X you are referring to is Kabylake and should be coming sometime early in 2017, I'm not sure of an exact release date.

You can get custom made gpu backplates here, if you go with these contact them to make sure you get the right one, they can do it in any color and probably the ROG logo too.

For tubing I use the mayhems ultra clear, this is the biggest size available 1/2" x 3/4"

Be sure your fittings are the same size, I like to show people these.

Coolant - Koolance is the only brand that recommends changing every 3 years all other brands recommend changing every year. These are just some suggestions you can go all EK, waterblocks, Rads, fittings, tubing, reservoir, pump, coolant. Red coolant is the color that stains the most because of the amount of dye needed to achieve the proper color, if you're worried about staining you might want to go with another color.

ROG and EK is as good as it gets.

To give you an idea here is my pc with 3/8" x 5/8" tubing, scroll down to the pictures.

If you need help choosing water cooling parts just say so.

Thank you very much for providing valuable information.

Coolant I was planning to go for Colorless coolant as I don't like dyed coolant. I want it to be transparent and clear. Thanks for the advise of Koolance I will go for Koolance 702 Liquid Coolant, Colorless.

As I am providing Space for 6 Radiators I will throw in at-least 4 Radiators. So even if place 4 Radiators there will 20fans for intake and 4fans for exhaust(excluding radiators). But as you can see in the images the Radiators at the bottom are completely cutout from top with only tubes running ti them, the radiators at the bottom are tilted at a angle so that the air that is taken in from the center is directly passed through them.

I will be using Hard tube. I want it neat and clean.

Yes I will go with 2 Way-SLI as 4-Way SLI is not officially supported.

I was referring to Skylake-X(not Kabylake) 10core CPU. If that 10core CPU is considered to be grouped under Kabylake(which I think is wrong) then yes Kabylake.

That Backplate is great Do they completely create custom Backplate according to our design. If so then I will definitely get it.

I am also planning on customizing the HB SLI bridge(4-Slot one) by removing its top cover and replacing it with custom LED top cover.

EK-Water loop with hard tubing 4-RADITOR setup, 1CPU, 2GPU, Fans in PUSH-PULL(push-pull makes lot of difference in cooling rather than going for push or pull).

Open for more advises.

The 6950X 10 core cpu is a Braodwell-E cpu and you'd want an x99 motherboard to pair it with, Strix X99 gaming, Rampage V Edition 10, X99 Deluxe II are all good choices.

This might be the best option.

There are two types of hard tubing acrylic and PETG, PETG is the better of the two as it is harder to chip and break.

Hard tubing requires some skill and you'd want a tube bending kit, if you've never worked with hard tubuing research it pretty good before attempting it.

There are different brands of these.

Oh I gotcha, I didn't look that far ahead. 🙂

Skylake - X looks to be coming the 2nd half of 2017.

First they said it will be released in Q2 2017 now is delayed to 2H 2017. I hate when Intel postpones its releases.

Do XPSC radiators perform better than EK radiators whereas EK water blocks being the best in the market.
If that is the case then would XPSC Radiators and EK Waterblock combo be better vs complete EK package.
