ASUS ROG Pugio II Sensor/Pointer Jumping

Hi!

I am currently having some minor problem with my Pugio II. It would sometimes suddenly moves or aims very randomly. I thought it has something to do with my felt mousepad so I switched, but the problem still happens. It doesn't bother me that much since what I'm playing is a RPG and not MOBA or FPS but still, it bothers me. What seems to be the problem here? I tried changing the height sensor from Low to High and vice versa, but that doesn't seem to change anything.

It sounds like you are having tracking issues.

1) Check for updates in Armoury Crate.

2) Does the problem happen when using both wired and wireless?

3) How far away is the wireless dongle from the mouse?

4) Are there any other wireless devices nearby that could cause interference?

Hi Nate152!

1. My Armoury Crate is always up-to-date.

2. Yes, the issue occurs both in wired and wireless mode.

3. I'd say the distance would just be 20 inches.

4. I'm also using ROG Strix NX Wireless in wireless mode. The issue still happens even if my keyboard is in wired mode.

Ok, since it's jumping in wired mode too, let's try in wired mode and check some things in Armoury Crate.

I'm using my ROG Chakram X as an example.

1) Make sure the cable is connected directly to a pc usb port.

2) Try the polling rate at 1000Hz.

3) Try Dpi at 1600.

4) Make sure Angle Snapping is turned off.

5) Try cleaning the sensor on the bottom of the mouse with a dry Q-tip.
