G74SX and HDD size

Am watching my HDD space diminish on my G74SX which I use to show alot of data while on the road, and am now thinking about my next upgrade. I need storage space much more than I need R/W performance, so an SSD is out of the picture for now (besides, I want a drive whose useful life is counted in years, not months!!)

My Question: will the G74SX support 2x1TB HDDs, such as the Western Digital Scorpio Blue Mobile 1TB 2.5IN (for example)? Or is the maximum the commonly-seen 2x750GB drives?

Anyone here running one or two 1TB HDDs in a G74?

I don't see any reason why they couldn't. It remember reading that the really big notebook drives tended to be less reliable, but maybe that's changed with the new ones. Just for the sake of data security, I think I'd rely on external drives if I had that much to store.
