Sheath or Scabbard for Pugio ?

I am after a new mouse mat.

Anyone tried Pugio mouse with these mats, what would you recommend better ? I am personally leaning towards the Scabbard, design wise but one reviewer said that nothing is better than cloth surfaces for them.

So wondering what have your experience with them has been

I too was on a mouse mat hunt and purchased the Scabbard...my search ended there. I love it! My favorite mat to date.
