Is the battery of G75VW the same as G75VX ?

Hi people, I have G75VX, my little kid accidently dropped the battery today-.- , two of the plastic corners are broken, I am trying to buy a new battery from local shop and they currently only have the stock one for G75VW, it look the same, checked on a few websites, both using +14.4V 5200 mAh battery, I am not sure if it is safe to use on G75VX, does anyone know ?

The battery should be the same. The only differences between the vx and vw is the updated graphics card, Thunderbolt port, and more efficient cpu.

And the G75VX comes with Windows 8 as standard - Not sure about VW model.

Battery is the same tho.
