PCH Temperature to high (?)

Hello,

I noticed that the PCH temperature is 61C - 65C. Is this a normal temperature?

My motherboard is a Maximus IX Formula.

What are you using to read the PCH temps? I don't think the temp is alarming but using AIDA64 on a IX Hero at idle I see 41 degrees, looking at your specs I would think the fact that your running two GPU's in sli may be the cause of your PCH temps, the heat expelled from your second GPU heating the PCH

I read the temperature in the BIOS, and with HWINFO64.

Since Friday my computer randomly powers off, I'm not sure if it's related to the PCH temperature or a faulty/weak PSU. Before Friday I didn't have any problems.

Maximus IX Formula ARMOR IS A HEAT TRAP, needs proper air flow in that zone.

Have You tried update the BIOS and clean CMOS
as Mentas mentioned should check air flow in that zone.

I have the most recent BIOS and I've cleared the CMOS. It's currently 49C and slowly rising.

I also think that the airflow isn't optimal. The radiator is placed on the front of the case. I might buy a new case and see how it goes.
