Such a shame that not more R&D time is spent on this program. If it worked as its intended it would be just flat out awesome. Issue is it doesn't, to the point that until I hear of a new release with lots of fixes and lots of feedback I wont even allow the install file to reside inside the confines of my firewall!

The crash is related to application update function , it can be manually triggered also at the menu shown on image.
Also the crash can be avoided if disable automatic aiSuite update checks by marking "Do not set download schedule"
It seems asus AiSuite3 relases dont get tested much before relases.
Is the overflow bug related to serializing networking packets or some other aspect?

Will the rampage V platfrom AiSuite also get some attention to detail?

Now new crash, iomap64.sys , some asus service , crash at startups via bluescreen , slightly after os boot. But it does not occur always , sometimes 10 boots fine , sometimes 10 failed boots row... sometime 1/3 driver crash ratio etc.
Already wasted time in reinstallin win 7 , 10 etc.
Now it solved and was related to aisuite features...gpu control and monitoring and it crashed with asuses own rog gpus in sli.
I just deleted all the files on C drive named iomap64.sys and not even errors by aisuite on startup that some files are missing.
Only dif i notice is no boot bluescreens and under tpu menu in ausuite gpu fan and clock controls are lost.............

Aisuite 2 was way more stable but what motherboard manufacturers make newer boards with stabler software and fix problems with month and not keep unfixed for years?

We need to put some pressure on ASUS to refine this software. Although I'm not getting serious crashes Ai does randomly decide it will just spool the fans as it sees fit on my PC. Just yesterday it made the executive decision to disregard my optimized fan setup and revert to the standard setup it was installed with. No matter what I tried it would just spool all the fans to max RPM's every time a program, any program was opened. I have all my case fans linked to the PCH temps which at the time were 37 degrees C so there's no reason the fans should be spooling to maximum RPM if they weren't told to do so. Meanwhile, the CPU cooler fan was constantly throttling up and down like a junkie traversing between a fix and withdrawals.

I also checked the CPU temperatures with HWiNFO for comparison. They were not the same. Usually they are but not this time. Ai is such a comprehensive tool with the attitude of an entitled millenial. Time to give it some discipline, ASUS, and make it behave like a big boy.
I'd like to deploy my troops in her country.

Spoke too soon regarding the temps. Even HWiNFO was showing some ridiculous temps and CPU speed fluctuations. I decided to uninstall GeForce Experience and things settled down for now. Will keep monitoring.

Ai Suite III fan curve issue......Remains.

It seems asus uses similar bugged base code for dif platforms and slightly mods the aisuite 3 to com with dif motherboards.
Many bugs seem to be also present on multiple platforms and dif boards.

It seems they focus on perfecting marketing images more than fixing bugs in software and increasing product reliability.
Also new products are relased before refining the software or fixing bugs in already relased products.

In long term this strategy probably cant do good.

Will the iomanip64 blues crashes get debugged by asus?
Is it not known issue for years already?
