Recently when I turned on my computer I got a Q-code 55 memory not detected. I checked to make sure that my CPU cooler was not overly tightened, reseated both my CPU and cooler then turned on my system and got Q- code 55 again. I tried the following combinations with my memory
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231902Slot A2 / B2 - Q55
Slot A1/B1- Q55
Slot A1 - single stick q-55 with both sticks
Slot A2- single stick q-55 with both sticks
Slot B1- single stick both got past post booted into windows
Slot B2- single stick both got past post booted into windows
Before my system had been running perfectly with the memory in A2/ B2 running at 3200MHz. I used the USB Bios flashback to update from 1701 to 3401 to solve any potential new issues and also to reset the Ram speed to default. I tried all the combinations of Ram slots again with basically the same final results except this time
when the system failed to post it would cycle through Q-codes 01-03. With a single stick of Ram in either slots B1 / B2 I can still get past Post and boot into windows. Any ideas on what I should try next I'm out of ideas?
