GU502LV Power and temperature limitation for mute and battery saving

Hello, a group of specialists.
I have been a computer scientist for over 20 years but I have never played with changing the clock speed of the processor or graphics until now when I bought the Zephyrus GU502LV and I have nerves for what I bought.
Namely why no one in this equipment thought to lower the timing so that the equipment would not heat up and hum so much. It talks about the usual normal uses, firefox, word, notepad etc.
And here is my big request. Is there any chance of:
1) limiting the power of the processor / cores so that you can work silently and the computer does not heat up so much during normal work where my old dell xps 15 did not even purr
2) turn off the graphics card in some quick way - dedicated to be able to quickly turn it on, if necessary, without the need to restart. Despite various attempts, various software uses it anyway and this, in turn, drains the battery, heats up and hums.

Please help me regain my faith in Asus 🙂

It should not be getting hot at idle or light workloads. What are the temps for the CPU and GPU at idle? High temps and utilization could be a parasitic process like buggy software or a crypto miner.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

At the moment 55 degrees, not bad, but how to force the software not to use an additional graphics card?
Is there really no way to make it a silent machine that doesn't hum after all. I will gladly sacrifice some power but to make the fans silent. As I said in the equally top Dell XPS 15 also a lot of power and a gtx and somehow in normal operation it worked silently.

I'm not sure if your model has Optimus. If it does then the discrete GPU will power down when not needed. If it does not have Optimus then the discrete GPU is the only GPU and will run all the time, at lower power when idle. Optimus can cause a performance penalty so not all gaming laptops will use it.
