ROG Strix SCAR 18 (2023) SATA Mode in bios

Hi,

Hope we will be able to change SATA Mode in bios from RST to AHCI.

Fed up with intel useless raid chipset for mobile platform.

Please do the bios correctly. Thanx in advance.

My scar 18 will not find the ssd in raid either stripe or mirror , asus cloud recovery gets all the way to the into windows while it isnfinishing then just reboots back to the start of asus cloud recovery all over again how do I fix this ?
It is stripe by default I believe I don’t know why it’s doing this , I reinstalled windows and it only found 1 ssd 1tb not 2tb and not raidÂ*
Now I’m bootlooping windows won’t install from usb no hdd found error Â*

I did a fresh install of Win 11 on mine and removed the RAID 0 setup. Initially, Windows wouldn't see any SSD's to install to. I had to go into the BIOS and disable the intel VMD controller - and then I could see the SSD's and install no problem

Did you try Samsung Magician ? And is your ssd recognised in it ? (I read your other post in "SSD Scar 18 - SSD low iops")
