I just bought Asus Rog Strix G18 a week ago, I am not sure about the exact cause but from my inspection, It seems like my laptop's keyboard stops working for no apperant reason. I assume it does when I stop interracting with it for a few seconds, often while watching videos, and won't work. The 5 keybinds of the Asus laptop seems to be working without any problems but I am unable to use the rest of the keyboard. I have to restart the laptop to make it work again. I am not sure about the exact cause and I would be happy to provide anything that could support my issue.
