I have a ROG G751JL-DS71, and for the life of me I can't seem to be able to accomplish what the title of this thread describes. I tried changing power settings, bios, etc, etc... Nothing works. Can this be done? I would like to use an external monitor with the laptop, and keep the lid closed most of the times. Is this possible?
