Quick Question On WIN7 Recovery DVDs

Hello,

I had to return my first G74sx due to a nonreponsive "Z" key and a spacebar that was a little faulty also.

I made my recovery DVDs with that first Asus. Do I need to recreate the recovery DVDs for the replacement G74sx?

That's a NO, JK! The DVD's are just a copy of what's on the ASUS hidden factory partition. That doesn't change unless you unhide it and change it, or choose to delete it. It's purpose it to restore the ASUS factory OS exactly how it looked when your laptop came out of the box.
