Hi everyone,
I just got my G750JS without Windows (I already had a copy I had bought earlier).
I have installed Windows 8.1 on a part of my SSD. The remaining part of the disc was intended to be used as Ubuntu partition.
Unfortunately I couldn't even start live version of Ubuntu 14.10, it just hangs on this violet Ubuntu loader (not GRUB, after that).
To bypass that I decided to install Ubuntu 14.04, but sadly the Ubuntu 14.04 installer doesn't see my SSD drive, only HDD one. It also doesn't show the WiFi connections.
FYI: just before the violet Ubuntu loader I get a "could not open //fallback.efi 14" error - 14.04 installer loads correctly so I guess it's not a problem.
Have anybody had such problems with installing Ubuntu on SSD next to existing Windows installation?
Could somebody give me a hand with this one?
