need adapter for 7.1 surround sound on astro a40s?

title pretty much says it all. is there a way to get 7.1 surround sound on the laptop with the astro a40s or am I stuck with stereo sound?

Yes with all astro headphones you need the mix amp to get the full 7.1 sound with it. You may need an external USB sound card also
