G751JY Keyboard not responding after waking the laptop.

Hi,

After waking my G751JY from sleep the keyboard is dead, no response from keypresses and no backlight. The wireless logitech g602 mouse i am using works just fine.

The current solution is to enter my password with the onscreen keyboard, entering device manager and reinstalling "HID keyboard device", that makes the keyboard come back alive.

I am running windows 10 technical preview build 10049 if that should matter.

Anyone else having a similar issue?

The answer is in your post, it is a software issue, nothing to worry about and to restore back to win 8.1 😉

I should've led with the windows 10 thing.

Thing is, id like to keep windows 10.

So if anyone has a similar issue, id love to hear your solution.

Report your bug to Microsoft, so that they fix it in the next update, hopefully.
