blu ray drive upgrade from existing dvd drive - g750-jw

I was curious if anyone could assist me as I really would like to upgrade the dvd drive in my g750 to a blu ray drive (reader, don't really need a writer).

Any advice on what I should be looking for or where to purchase? or will it be just easier to purchase a usb 3.0 external?

The BR reader in my JX is MAT****A BD-CMB UJ160

Searching for UJ160 on ebay shows some results, you should be able to swap the black plastic cover from the old drive (though I've never done it, I'm sure youtube will have videos).

edit: silly profane filter edited the brand of the drive... jeez. It's M A T S H I T A .
