Problem with 3d on my g74sx

I have the 3d model of the g74sx, and the 3d works fine when its only on the internal display. But when i hook it up to another moniter, things go wonky (i dont use the other monitor for 3d - all 3d video i run are solely on the internal 3d display)....

G75 FN Defaults

Is there anyway that I can make the default of my F1-F12 be the fn aspect of them, for instance when I hit F10 I want my volume to just go to 0, I don't want to have to fn f10, it is extremely frustrating to hit fn and the higher f keys with one hand...
