Asus G53SX: Full HD vs 3D?

Hi! I were wondering your thoughts on which of the G53SX models I should buy. Been looking around and i noticed the one with 3D is 'only' 1366x768 while the other one i saw was full HD (1920x1080). Which gives the best gaming experience in games where graphics truly matter, etc Skyrim, BF3, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial The Game?

New to the forum, so please excuse me if i posted it in the wrong place.

Uhm

If you did find a model with 3D, there must be a wrong info on the product from the reseller. Since you get a 120 hertz screen with the 3DE model, I would never think that it would come with that resolution.

Where did you find these notebooks?

I read it from their oficial site, and i could not find any models with 3d and fill hd.

Okey, before I'm going to look at the link with the "3D one in english" I hope you see something is wrong in the link 😛 It' says there clearly g53SX-XN1 also not an 3DE model 😞

Then the Full HD is the best option for you.... If you don't need more then HD+ or what it is called

EDIT: I think there must be something wrong with the info for the "3D model" it also says Full HD in the same bar as 1366 x 768, that confuses me alot :@

But the notebook from komplett.no is better spec'ed then the one from amazon

The thing at the amazon one was that they just copied what it said from asus.com, wwhich describes three different models. And if there is a full hd one with 3d i would buy that, except i haven't found one. Also, I dont know what 3DE is

To make an example with a model with 3D
G53SX - 3DE (just telling you that the notebook is a 3D model)
G53SX - XN1 (none 3D modell)

And the info in amazon didn't convince me with the product being a 3D model, perhaps other members in this forum could give some input about what they think. I could be wrong, and if I am, then I would lie completely down and agree with what they say.

Lol, at last i decide to go for the G74SX-DH73-3D. I didn't want to get something from the G74 series because of the price, but then i search on amazon and find one that costs 1789$ instead of the one i found here in Norway for 3300$
1920x1080 3D gaming, here i come xD

Congrats and Welcome to the Forum!.. 🙂

After all the confusion, you've finally chosen the G53's big brother.
I believe you've made the right decision of choosing the G74SX-DH73-3D, especially for its matte screen.

I love it when people take spontaneous decisions when they are talking about completely different products, haha 😛

Gratz with your new notebook 😄
