Core i9 7980XE ( Skylake X SKUs ) on Microsoft Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.51

Many friends ask me about Microsoft CPU support list for Windows 11.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-inte...

Some people running on Kabylake X and Skylake X SKUs worried about their CPUs which not on Microsoft list above.
I can bold proof here your CPU capable running Windows 11 when its final release.

Kabylake X and Coffeelake are the same microarchitect ( Skylake Microarchitect based )
Skylake X SKUs and Skylake SP are the same microarchitect. ( Skylake SP Microarchitect based )

See on video link below how good was Skylake X SKUs perform?

Probably incapable of clearing an oversized turd from the toilet with a plunger with that IQ level.
OP always has useful info. Just because someone else in their infinite wisdom doesn't need it running EK-Velocity , EK-CoolStream PE 360, XSPC TX240 Ultrathin, EK X-RES 140 Revo D5 RGB PWM on a 10980XE that cant get past 4.6GHz on an R6EO doesn't mean its not good info for others.

FWIW I have a 7940x with an original R6E and with some BIOS TPM tweaks the Windows Check Tool gave me a thumbs up. Not sure if that even means anything at this point.

Yep . your 7940x and all Skylake X SKUs support Windows 11 as well even it was not on Microsoft earlier CPU support list. 😮

I have exactly the same configuration and all is well.......let's hope they don't change anything since I really see no reason to change my CPU before new platforms arive.....I have 8 Cores @ 4.9 and the rest @ 4.8 and no need for more cores.....
