What could eventually happen if I'd uninstall my previous version and install the newer one without running the remove tool in the middle?

Thanks!

I instead of removing the one installed with the app I installed the new one over it and it was fine. Removing it would prompt a reboot and the app would most likely not start until you installed them again and rebooted. My advice is just to update them by installing the newer one rather than removing them.

Better to remove ASUS software with the steps mentioned, unless you want a corrupted system..
The uninstallers simply do not remove the directories/registry keys that are part of the previous installation

you can make sure you have the new one by looking at the version in the app itself.

I was just about to ask a question after the Calibrate External Fan application gave me "Detect Fail" for the 50th time. NOW it decides to play ball! Using 1.6.0.5 with my 1080TiOC
I have one Corsair AF140 with a Phantex Halo Lux mounted underneath. Both connected to the GPU. Nice design. Frees up the mobo's headers. For the longest time GPU Tweak II would not detect the fan, then it automatically set the fan speed to 80% constantly. Annoying. Fixed now. So, if anyone else is having a problem with Calibrate External Fan, just try, try and try again. It will detect it eventually.

BTW I like the 1.6.0.5 because it shows percentage on the middle dial, not clock speed like the newer versions.

Issues in v1.9.1.1

- The monitor panel still starts detached when launching the app for the first time after a reboot
- When double clicking the app icon on the taskbar for the first time after a reboot, the app does not show up on the foreground, instead the app shows up at the end of the list of currently opened apps

Same here, especially detached monitor panel is uncomforble.

How often do you guys update list of the OSD supported game? Thx.

Unfortunately, these issues are still present in v1.9.3.0

These issues are still present in v1.9.4.4.
Seriously, is it that hard fixing those issues? It’s really annoying.

On the gputweak download site @ version 1.9.2.1 it says now this:
*Support models:
ROG STRIX RTX 2080Ti/2080/2070 models
ROG STRIX GTX 1080Ti/1080/1070/1060 models

Does this mean that version 1.9.1.1 also is for the 10 series cards?
