Hey, all, 1st time poster here and am having a problem with GPU Tweak II.

I download the latest version, open the zip file, and double-click the setup file (there is no option to run as administrator when I right-click on the setup file) and successfully install GPU Tweak II. However, when I double-click the GPU Tweak II icon on my desktop, I see the windows circle above my pointer a few times, but the program doesn't actually open to use.

Would appreciate any tips or advice, thanks.

Hi,

Can you confirm

1. whether the application is still running in the background when this happens (Task Manager).
2. If there are any event logs detailing the app crash.

Thanks

1. I don't see GPU Tweak listed in Task Manager.
2. I'm afraid to say that I don't know how to view an event log to verify if it crashed or not. Can you point me in the right direction?

Got into Event Viewer and found this related to GPUTweak:

I have exact same, Upgraded my card to ROG 2080TI O11G Gaming and the GPU Tweak software won't load. Same type errors in event viewer. I've uninstalled nvidia, gpu, ran cc cleaner... to no avail

Anyone have any other ideas other than go with different vendor card?

UPDATE: I had another app used on my Oculus that wasn't working either. Someone said to remove Citrix Workspace/Station. I removed that and my other app worked. Out of curiosity I tried GPU Tweak again and it works now. Not sure why, but that appears to have fixed the issues I was having.

Isn't GPU TweakII coming with vcredist version 2017 nowdays (or at least a redirection to get it from MS)?

bump. Can we get a fix for custom curves to be saved? Currently not working and a pain.

I am using GPU Tweak II 1.9.3 on a 2080ti strix oc edition with an external fan (noctua nf-a14 pwm) attached to the fan header on the gpu. The calibration shows fan range from 0-100%. But I am not able to change the lowest point on the custom fan curve to below 50%. I even found some entries in the registry like FanDuty0 on UserProfile0 but changing that to a lower number doesn't seem to have much effect. Is there something I am missing?

Any update on the following ?

Using GPU Tweak II version 1.9.1.1 with an ASUS laptop GL703GS-E5011T, which uses a 1070.

My problem is that Tweak II will not save settings. If I create a profile named 'Custom' and then reboot, that profile appears as 'User 1' without any of the settings. Even changing the option to start minimised is lost during reboot. Please advise, thanks.

Same issue with 1.9.3.0.

Feels bad to spend so much on a laptop, only to find out the support is non-existant.
