Help with annoying pop up after upgrading to new Rog Mobo

Crasje

Hello,

I had a ROG Formula IX and just upgrades to the new ROG Extreme Z690

Before installing the news Mobo I have removed the old Mobo software. Unfortunately, I think not completely since every time I start up I get a pop up from wifiletransfer with a big red x that it can't open the file:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ AI Suite III\File Transfer\Wi-Fi GO! AssitTool\WiFile\Resource\Locate\Laserpen-Spot_s.png"
The system cannot find the path specified

I have removed Al Suite III, used the cleaner from the site, there is not much on the i-net except commercial sited trying to sell you removal software.

Suggestions anyone?

Hi Crasje,

When you installed windows with your Z690 motherboard, did you format the drive and delete everything on it?

hi,

No I did not. I removed all the hardware drivers of the old MOBO. Copied all files to new SSDs and installed the hardware and then the new drivers. My PC works like a charm and is super fast :-).

I have been able to stop the pop-up by disabling the WiFil GO! File Transfer in the startup.

Not the best way to do it.
