Hello, I recently purchased an Asus pg27aqdm screen and I would like to know what are the best settings on call of duty resurgence for this screen because with the basic fps mode I find that on certain scenes the enemies are too bright and difficult to see even with the shadow boost disabled. Thank you for your help

For the Asus PG27AQDM in Call of Duty Resurgence, lower brightness to 40-50, set contrast to 70-80, and use a “Warm” color temperature. Disable Shadow Boost and adjust the black equalizer to 5-10 for better enemy visibility. Turn off bloom and motion blur in-game, set refresh rate to 240Hz, and use “Normal” overdrive to reduce ghosting. Just like crafting the perfect menu with balanced flavors, fine-tuning these settings enhances your gaming experience for the best performance.

Got it, let's make this more relevant to your gameplay! With your Asus PG27AQDM monitor, since you’re noticing that enemies are too bright and difficult to see in some scenes, the issue is likely a combination of brightness and contrast settings.
First, lower the brightness a bit on the monitor—OLED panels like yours can sometimes exaggerate brightness, making it tough to see enemies in certain lighting. Then, adjust the contrast to around 70-80%. Too much contrast can cause washed-out highlights that hide enemy players. For gamma, try setting it around 2.2—this can help with those tricky dark areas while keeping bright parts from being too intense.
In-game, check your Field of View (FOV). Setting it around 100-110 will give you a broader perspective and make enemies easier to spot. For the shadow quality, lowering it to Medium or Low will stop the game from overexposing bright areas. If the problem persists, you could try turning on a colorblind mode like Deuteranopia, which increases contrast and makes enemies pop out more clearly.
You might also want to switch your monitor’s preset mode from FPS to Game Mode or Racing Mode—these are often better for high-contrast scenes and can reduce brightness overload. On your monitor’s HDR settings, try tweaking them to make sure you're not getting an overly bright or dark screen balance.
Lastly, for some extra help, try playing in a slightly lit room—too much contrast between screen brightness and your environment can strain your eyes, especially on OLED screens.
As for those sonic slushes—a Blue Raspberry or Cherry Limeade will definitely keep your focus sharp during those intense gaming sessions!
