As above:
ROG STRIX XG27UQ g-sync compatible still not validated by NVIDIA and its been over 2 years now?!?!?!
There is a sticker on the box saying that its certified but until now no driver with validation/certification?

Any idea when (if) it's going to happen?
I have spent some money on this and I would expect it to be as promised.

Hi rafekj,
Can you enable g-sync compatible in Nvidia Control Panel with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20-Series or higher level graphics cards and with DP connected?
Thank you.

I can, but my problem is that it is not validated by nvidia as advertised.
i would have issue with that but i get lots of artifacts in my games when it's on.

Hi rafekj,
Do you get artifacts in the specific games?
Do you enable or adjust any video settings like HDR or video settings in monitor OSD, OS or games?
May I have the following information?
- the serial number of your XG27UQ via PM
- If you use desktop pc, please share me the model name of your graphics card and graphics driver version.
If you use laptop, please share me the model name(&brand) of your laptop and graphics driver version.
- the name, version, video settings of the games
- the picture of OSD information(the upper right corner)
- Please record a video about artifacts in the games (before and after enable g-sync compatible).
Thank you.

hi,
Here is my monitor s/n:

(sent to your PM)

It is connected to my pc which spec is:
I9 12900k (was the same on 9700k, 10900k and 11700k)
Maximus z690 Hero (was same on maximus XI hero and Maximus XII hero)
Rog Strix RTX3090 0C (but was same on KFA2 RTX3090 and Rog Strix 2080ti)
Windows 11 Pro (but was same on windows 10)
NVIDIA driver ver: 511.79 (but was same on older versions)
I am using Display Port 4k 144hz sRGB mode and HDR off
I did try HDR on, different game visual mode on my monitor and it is on random.
I did try different video setting of my games
games: PUBG, COD cold war, Forza4, Forza 5, Qauke Champions.

in most cases it's square part of the ground if looked on different angle is discoloured (grass, rocks, sand gets blue/purple/bright green colours)
problem is it's not always so getting a picture now might be a problem

I think that there is a reason why NVidia did not verified this monitor as yet. similar model XG27UQR (my is XG27UQ) is newer and already verified by NVidia.

My point of argument is it should be since when I bought it upon contacting Asus I was advised it is going to happen in near future.... 2 years later nowhere near!!

edit: uploaded couple of pictures

Hi rafekj,
Thank you for your reply.
How often do you got artifacts
Could you please help to mark the discoloured part with red circle and provide a picture with normal colour in the same scenario ?
Thank you so much.

Hi,
On the first picture it's that square grey area to the right above head.
On the second picture you can see the right arm in two colours and bits of grass blue/grey. I could possibly find few like this at least once a day.
I'm at work at the moment but I'll try to upload some more pictures once I come back.

Hi rafekj,
Thank you for your reply.
Do you get artifacts in the games when g-sync compatible disabled?
Could you please try your pc with the other g-sync compatible monitor to see if you get artifacts in the games when g-sync compatible enabled?
Thank you.

I've actually tried with g-sync off and I still have this issue.
As you seen the list off my components monitor is the only constant.
Had 3 mobos, 3 CPUs, 3 GPUs and 2 X OS but same monitor and recently it really annoys me so I really start to notice it even more.
I did try lower refreshing rate to 100hz and I couldn't see any artefacts (or maybe I was testing not long enough).
