Asus ROG Dominus Extreme C621 Windows 11/TPM2.0 support

Hello,

As per the Windows 11 support list I cannot see Asus ROG Dominus Extreme listed there:

https://www.asus.com/microsite/motherboard/ASUS-motherboards-Win11-ready/

However the CPU on this motherboard, Intel Xeon W-3175X, is fully supported by Windows 11:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-inte...

Motherboard is still within warranty.

The UEFI BIOS doesn't seem to have the PCH-FW menu at all under advanced. Please see screenshot. Anything I am missing? Last UEFI released by ASUS is already over 1 year old.

Hi xarot,

If the model name is not in the win11 list, I'm afraid it may mean the model is not supported win11.
https://www.asus.com/microsite/motherboard/ASUS-motherboards-Win11-ready/
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Hello, to support Windows 11 on Rog Dominus Extrême you just have to insert the ASUS TPM-M R2.0 Card product code 90MC03W0-MOXBN1 ans insert it on TPM socket located on position réf. « 31 » Shown on board schematic page 1-2 or manual. If you can’t find this module on local shop, you can get it on AliExpress BGEKTOTH shop.

Thanks, I have already ordered the Asus module some time ago, it will take a long time though.

Asus support was again completely useless in trying to solve the issue. So I think this must mean the board does not have "firmware TPM" in the UEFI and a hardware module needs to be used instead.

Hi,

That is pretty odd as the motherboard is still being sold and in stock Asus store in Amazon.com. I have submitted a ticket to local ASUS support, hopefully they will report this to ASUS HQ to get support for Win 11.

Win 11 support is even brought to some models from 2015 that have been EOL for a long time.

Hello, sorry for the typos, my iPhone did not accept my English and tried to translate into French. The TPM-M R2.0 manual is available at https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/Accessories/TPM-M-R2-0/HelpDesk_Manual/
When the module is inserted into its support on the motherboard, the Bios Trusted Computing menu is updated.

Hi machproo,
If your motherboard is not listed on support list, it means your motherboard does not meet the minimum requirements to support windows 11 even though you install other TPM 2.0 module (Card) on your motherboard. (Processor is also required to support windows 11).
Please refer to the following link.
https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1046215/
Thank you.

There is also another door to install Windows 11 without TPM 2.0 installed. It is to remove the « Trusted Computing feature » introduced in Windows 11 during its installation by doing « shift F10, regedit,HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup and create the key « BypassTPMcheck »

Hello, thanks for your answer but Rog Dominus Extreme motherboard has a chipset « C621 » wich is supported and run with the W3175X processor wich is supported to see:*https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-inte.... The only problem that remain is the lack of support fromage ASUS.com and ils dismal marketing attitude towards this flagship product that is the « Rog Dominus Extreme » motherboard*
