Sound doesn't come in TV, when connected with HDMT cable.

Another one is that - No matter what kind of settings I chance, I've tried everything, sound just won't come in TV using HDMI cable....
My friends tried it with his laptop, using same cable and same TV, sound came! So it must be my laptop's problem....

When I go to Playback Devices under sound option, it says the TV is unplugged, so no matter what I do, it won't work....I've tried everything so far, please help! 😧

Depending on the model of your graphics chip in the notebook and the driver type or the driver settings, the PC either activates the HDMI output when plugging the cable or it does not react at all. In that case you need to switch on the output in the driver settings and after that, you can also activate HDMI audio out, given that the HDMI Audio driver is installed.
