I notice others running less oc with 8600k are scoring way above me in realbench , specifically encoding?
i score around 60,000 with an oc of 4.9 while most do 78,000 on a 4.6 oc?
Could it be possible that even tho i pass p95 and realbench stress tests that my cpu is like a dud 4.9, would more vcore fix the issue?
I tried a vcore of 1.28 just to run realbench and compare encoding score, but there was almost no chnge.. i have a dud 8600k that will do 4.9 at 1.22 but has no
horsepower behind it..
anyone any ideas.. cheers

Hello codswallop
Welcome to the ROG forum !
Here is a user with the i5-8600k and a gtx 1060, you beat him by about 5,000 points, your last screenshot the encoding score is on par.
Looks good to me !

I think you need more Vcore if your score is dropping at 4.9GHz, try up to 1.30v - 1.35v. If it's stable at 4.9GHz with games you can run with lower voltage.
It's just the way Realbench is, I can pass the benchmark with lower voltage but my image editing score is off track.

Thankyou for the insight mate, iam sure what you say wld normally have some impact on the score but no matter what vcore i use the score remains the same.
My guess is some windows update has broken realbench ..
