Hey! just sharing some results from my year old Strix B350F....

On my upgrade path to new parts, a few days ago my r7 2700x came earlier than expected, so I decided to get it going to run some tests. I've read almost everything that I could find including this forum regarding this board VRM's etc., I spent several hours testing and configuring and here are some results and pics with the build specs.

The system is running fast and cool in both configurations (Auto & manually overclocked).

Rock Solid Stability: 4.3 Ghz
RAM: 2933mhz
Cinebench R15: 1964
Idling CPU temp avg: 35-38 degrees Celsius
Full load Aida64: 62 degress Celsius

This PC is a daily driver with over 6 hrs of runtime 6 days a week.

Specs:

AMD R7 2700x
Asus ROG Strix B350F bios 4024
Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz
Cooler Master HP500M
Bequiet Straight Power 10 800w
Samsung EVO 960
MSI Duke GTX 1080
EKWB Slim 360 custom loop

This has been a two year old ongoing project and thanks for everyone sharing their knowledge!

1.47v.. holy ****! Did i miss something? That's pretty damn high if so. Asking alot from the VRM. Did u check VRM temps? I can't put more than 1.32v on my r5 1600@3.85gHz without the VRM's getting too hot for my liking on the same board.

...yeah, but that voltage is on auto settings and it never spikes above that. On manual overclock preset @ 4.325 ghz it never goes above 1.417v. Interestingly enough, on auto CPU frequency, it hits 4.350 ghz frequently.

I have a thermal probe on the vrm's and under load they hit around 50 Celsius max no matter what stress I throw at it.

This board is over a year old and ran a r5 1600x @ 4.1 ghz without any issues... overall cooling is a must!
