Different Benchmark tools and vcore voltages

I tried different tools to stress test my 4790K: Aida64, RealBench, OOCT

The 2 I like are Realbench and OOCT, but the real problem with RealBench is it requires a significantly higher voltage for an OC to be stable compared to anything else.

Besides, I can run OOCT for 3 hours stable, where realbench would fail within 15-20 minutes

So, which tool should I rely on for normal, everyday usage of gaming, etc ?

When you run realbench are you only running the stress test?

Just to confirm:

open realbench and click stress test beside benchmark, turn it white and select how many GB of ram you are using then click start.

if this is what you're doing then you are doing it right, if OOCT is stable for you with the same overclock and good temps then go with it.

Both should be putting 100% load on your cpu.

Yes, stress test under RealBench

Both do put 100% lead, but it seems RealBench does more than just that.. What I am trying to know is if someone tested with OOCT and ever had a BSOD afterwards

The BSOD would indicate you are not stable, your cpu needs a little more voltage.

Only with RealBench. OOCT runs same exact settings for 2.5 hours without issues.
