Random question on VI formula

I used to have a maximus V formula when i turn on my UPS backup then my pc it boot normal now on my maximus VI formula my pc turn on for 2sec then shutdown by itself then turn back on is this normal ?

Note: if i leave the UPS backup on i don't have the issue.
Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D.
CPU: Core i7-7700K.
Board: Asus Maximus IV Formula Z270.
VGA: Asus Strix GTX 1080.
Ram: 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE LED 3000MHz.
CPU Cooler: Corsair H110.
PSU: Corsair AX860iW.
SoundCard: Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D PCIe.

I get that sort of start everytime I boot after switching off the PSU. That shuts off standby 5v power that is normally on when the PC is shut off by the front panel button alone. The same goes for unplugging the PSU or shutting off an outside source such as an UPS.

The UPS is probably important to you and switching it off when the PC is off may prolong its life. It's your choice to go with that arrangement and live with the startup stutter versus leaving the UPS on.

Thanks jab for the info i leave my UPS backup off when i go to work because i don't wanna come back home and see my power supply fried, in my country electricity is so freaking bad 😕
