M6E and Intel 750 NVMe PCI-E SSD

Hello everyone,

I love my M6E rig and I want to keep it for still sometime as it suits my daily needs.
Despite this, I'm looking a new boot drive to upgrade my currently rig. I'm thinking in, let's say, the new Intel 750 AIC SSD NVMe.
Just wish to get certainty that the drive will be recognized by bios and will be possible to boot to the OS (Windows 8.1 and Windows 7).
Will be M6E able to initialize the drive and boot the OS? I know that 750 is bootable. Only need to know if both are compatible.

Have a read through this, it says intel points to official support for z97 and x99 chipsets.
