Ok just built my system. Crosshair V + fx6100 black edish + 6970 + toughpower + g.skill ripjaw X.
My problem is,.everything is all stock voltage all set on auto in bios. the "amd turbo core" was already enabled..
And it was blue screening.. even just while searching the net.. Bsod. The second I disable turbo it's sweet.
Buy why does this happen ?

Thanks. Lukas.

Turbo is probably not applying enough CPU voltage, just disable it and overclock manually.

What is your power supply ? Did you connect the pin for cpu 8 and 4 pin ? Do you have the lastest bios ?

Hey luke - at first glance it does seem like your PSU might be the cause.

However lets not get ahead of ourselves here.

Could you run memtest and check that your ram is running perfectly. Basically I would like to remove variables from the mix. Helps the problem solving in the long run.

Hmm.. It's all new ram ? 1866 ripjaw X... But i'm only running 4 gig due to the stupid oversized thermaltake frio ock.. Could it still be faulty even if new ?. As for power supply, I have a toughpower xt 875 w, with the 8 pin only.
Thanks for the quick responses!

New stuff can be defective, despite stringent quality controls. Electronics especially. Not saying it is just want to remove a variable. Of course it is up to you if you wish to do the memtest.

All good mate we do try to get people sorted as quickly as we can, .
