Asus P8Z68-V LX, not compatible with i7 3770?

Here's something strange.

I have an Asus P8Z68-V LX, with the latest BIOS installed, the Core i5 3570 work on it, but not the Core i7 3770. I tried 2 x 3770, and they do the same thing, i tried everything i could, but for some reasons, the 3770 doesn't seem work on this board. Though the Asus website do say it's supposed to WORK on this board. Though this board use the Z68 chipset, was built for 2nd-gen Core i3-i5-i7, but had an update for 3rd-gen CPUs.

So is Asus at fault on this? i would like to use this 3770 instead, but it's fine. This board is used as my 2nd PC. My main PC is a 4790k installed on an Asus Z97 Pro (WiFi AC), so if there's no way to make this 3770 work on that Asus P8Z68-V LX, i guess it's no biggie.

But i want to know, is there another way to try to make it work? Is there some kind of BETA BIOS i'm not aware of, which would make it work?
