( Solved )ASUS GeForce GTX 660ti DirectCU II Top runs on 3.0 X8

Rampage IV first 16X PCI-express slot only works @ 8X
As the tile says
Rampage IV first 16X PCI-express slot only works @8x instead of @16x reported by GPU-Z & CPU-Z

New board and video card.
Board: Rampage IV running latest BIOS
Video Card: Asus Geforce GTX 660ti
The graphics card is installed at the top slot, closest to the CPU x16 slot.*

Things that I have checked:
The other slots are empty.
Also card is seated very well and I have re-seated it several times, but have not tried it in another @16 slot
Latest BIOS
I have disable other slots with PCI-E Lane Switch to see if this would fix it.
Perhaps GPU-z is reporting wrong? I clicked the render button but it only 1.1 changed to 3.0. Still showing @8

Nvidia control panel show the bus is PCI-e @16 but running at @8, and in the BIOS it say's native @8 running
20677
How to enable PCI-E 3.0 @ x16 ? Board? Card?

Problem solved , it was that POS Nvidia card, went back to a ATI 7950 and all works well native @16 running on PCI-e 3.0................ no more trying to get Nivdia cards to run PCI-3.0

Sorry you miss understand, the board runs PCI-3.0, but the card is running at @8 instead of the native @16
