Newegg listing November 2nd and 3rd:

96062

Newegg listing November 4th, today:

96063

Did Newegg sell out their known incoming quantity of boards as Pre-Orders in 48hours? OR did they simply change the purchasing status?

Who knows right?

Did anyone grab a pre-order?

So just for the record, it may help other ROGers.

I did not buy or use a CPU contact frame and my Raptor Lake CPU thermals are outstanding.

Did not buy or use this:

96548

Only the EK block and Kryonaut direct contact to the Intel IHS.

The Gskill DDR5 7800 and 8000 mem kits listed at the websight 3days ago. WOW that's fast.

I'll grab the 8000 kit along with a 13900KS and a gen 5 SSD in Q1 2023. Hoping my 13600K and 7600 kit can at least run XMP and maybe 7800...

Wow, Raptor Lake is really fast, even my little i5 13600K is very fast even at stock, loving this new gen. 🙂

Got a WD_Black SN850 M.2 nvme SSD gen 4 mounted under the Apex 15's massive heatsink, will move to gen 5 when they arrive.

Got my lighting set up - dim white ideal for a work build.

Here's 7800.

And I didn't even increase the XMP voltage, still at 1.4v - this Apex is brilliant.

I gotta spend some time learning the new options in the bios before attempting 8000, but have a strong feeling this 11600K i5 might do 8000 and 8200, since the Apex is so sweeeeet! 🙂

And I've got to turn off those darn E-cores before going any farther.

ROG put together a very nice professional package of Z790 Apex accessories without the silly stickers and keychains - we are NOT 15yrs old.

Maybe ROG is finally understanding that the Apex board is most ideal for professional home office users and not the PRO ART series. Home office users like me want the speed to complete our work quickly.

Thank you ROG! 🙂

It lives and breathes! Nice job. Good to know that these cards will support fast memory. Either you've been lucky or others have been unlucky, but that's reassuring indeed.

I'm going with EVGA Z790 motherboard this time, the Z690 was solid.

Waiting for Z790 Dark Kingpin to drop. https://www.evga.com/articles/01590/Introducing-the-EVGA-Z790/
