Asus rog strix z690-a gaming wifi d4 owner here and wondering about this savitech amp and whether it is applied to the audio ports on the back, the ports on the front or what?

Does anyone know where in the audio chain this amplification is applied?

I haven't, but I do use the front ports for headphones.

I am wondering the same thing about my B650-i. Is the audio quality on the green-light-emitting 3,5mm port on the motherboard just as good as the front port? If not, is it still better than plugging your speakers into the monitor?

The manual says "The rear panel Lime (Line out) port does not support spatial audio. If you wish to use spatial audio, make sure to connect your audio output device to the audio jack on the front panel of your chassis." but is the stereo quality the same?

Hello, as far as I'm aware, the outputs are for the front panel only. The rear outputs use the codec's internal amp.
