Installed bios v2103 without updating Intel ME

I have the Z690 Hero. I stupidly upgraded to bios v2103 from v1601 without first updating Intel ME firmware to 16.1.25.1885 (I was still on v16)

What will be the impact from that?

I later upgraded the Intel ME firmware to the newest version, and reinstalled bios v2103. I'm not sure if that "fixed" any deficiencies or if there are still some non-optimized settings still there.

Regardless, my PC booted up fine and seems to be operating as before but if there are some settings that were negatively impacted, I would like to know what they are and how to fix them.

Thanks!

I have forgotten more than once myself and I've never had an issue. But just run the firmware update now as you still have to

Thanks!

You can also

1) Update the ME
2) Clear CMOS
3) Enter BIOS and reflash it from within the BIOS as by manual

I have seen this online and it makes sense as then the bios will have correct settings there, provided you do not have any particular overclocking that makes is annoying to do.
