VG27WQ bad color profile

So I got the Aus TUF monitor VG27WQ, I installed the driver from the download page, which comes with a color profile. All chromium applications display bad washed-out colors. Edge, Steam, Spotify... even Microsoft Photos app.
The workaround is to enable the flag "force color profile" to sRGB in the web browsers, but for Steam and Spotify, I have to disable hardware acceleration. For Photos app it doesn't' seem to be a solution, disabling hardware acceleration doesn't work.
Is Asus ever going to release an update to fix this?

It says this update is not applicable to this GPU and this PC. I have a 2060 Super.
I've done research about this, this is really an incompatibility between the color profile and chromium.

I've switched to the Windows 10 default icc profile sRGB IEC61966-2.1, to avoid this hassle. It doesn't make any noticeable difference in the desktop. I don't know what it actuallyy changes.
But it's clearly a poorly made driver/icc profile, it even says "AUS" instead of ASUS.

I went off your pc specification of Asus Expedition GTX 1070 OC 8GB, the 2060 does not need this update.

That's my other, older PC. Not using it with this monitor.
