I have this weird issue with my Vega64, where sometimes when I launch a game, the GPU wont enter 3D more properly and will actually overheat and crash the system because the fans stay off. I have no Idea what causes the issue of fans not starting when the card starts to overheat and It happens regardless of tinkering with the settings or not.
As to why the card does not enter 3D mode at times, I think it is an issue with my system going into and returning from sleep mode and something happening with the AMD driver or some Microsoft feature or process that the driver relies on to detect game launches.
Could this overheating be a Firmware issue with the StrixVega card and has it been corrected already?
