Hey guys,

I'd be happy about a short feedback to the following new build:

i9 9900K (5,0 to 5,1 GHz overclock)
Nocture Noctua D15s dual fan cooler

Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master Intel Z390 So.1151 Dual Channel DDR4

4 x 16 GB G.Skill Trident Z silber/rot DDR4-3200 DIMM CL14 Dual Kit

OS/Apps = 256 GB Samsung 850 Pro SSD

Media files = 1000GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2

Cache = 500GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2

Backup = 3000GB WD Black

EVGA GTX 1080 FTW Gaming Acx 3.0 8GB

Corsair 850 PSU

I'll be editing mainly GH5 4K footage in multicam shots with color grading and dynamic link to After Effects.

My question will I get full performance for all part due to the PCI lanes? Is there any bottleneck?

Thank you :cool:

I think that if the After Effect software is installed on the Disk nvme and you work on the same disk there will be no bottleneck. Where from one ssd nvme to another ssd nvme. But from an ssd connected in sata to a nvme in pcie the bandwidth will be limited

thanks, so better have OS/App on one m2 and footage+cache on the other m2. The ssd is not really nessesarry?
