Can a Z77 MOBO be used to replace a failed ASUS Sabertooth P67?

I built my puter from scratch 9 years ago. The ASUS Sabertooth P67 that is the MOBO has failed. Rather than send it back to the factory to be refurbished, The MOBO is no longer under warranty, so I would have to pay for the refurbishing. Instead, I am considering replacement of the P67 with a Z77 MOBO instead. Can anyone please tell me if this would work? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I really do not know, but both motherboards support CPU LGA1155 and DDR3 RAM. What you can do is look-up the CPU LGA1155 and DDR3 RAM you currently have on the P67 and want to move to the Z77. Look at the Z77 CPU Support and Memory/Device Support list. The Z77 does support DDR3 1333 so, it might work. Graphic card slots look the same, so there should be no problem.
