With the laptop itself there is only one issue you will experience a problem with and that is after several years of use the keyboard will most likely malfunction depending on usage, if you're a heavy gamer like the rest of us the wires underneath the Keyboard will wear down and malfunction, replacing this is a pain unless you pay to have it serviced out of pocket as it will most likely occur after warranty. An easy way around this is just to buy a USB keyboard however I feel like a laptop this expensive should have a lifetime warranty on Keyboards if this is a known issue which at this point in time, it is. It would be nice to see Asus update their policy to include Keyboard replacements at a fair price covered under a lifetime warranty even if you have to pay the cost of shipping and the cost of the keyboard itself which should cost no more than $300, as it stands now the repairs I've seen range from $500-$1000+ which is not a nice feeling after you've paid $1500-$5000 for the Laptop itself. Other than that the laptop runs great, runs even the best of games smoothly at max settings, you should have a great time!

The other issue is a Microsoft Windows issue which is plaguing all sorts of Windows PCs not just Asus and I have now found the permanent fix to this solution should you run into it after purchase, what happens is that Laptops have been randomly shutting down or restarting, most people believed it was an overheating issue with the hardware itself, a Thermal paste issue, PSU issue, Cleaning issue, but none of these were actually correct, should you run into this issue please follow the guide below and all your problems with Windows will be solved.
