I have recently bought this Board: TUFX670E-PLUS. I also have a RTX4090 ROG STRIX OC and a Thunderbolt EX4 Card.

Since the GPU is to high i wanted to Put the EX4 Card into the Bottom X16 PCIE Slot of the Board. in
the manual is written, that it must be palced in the upper X4 Slot. i testd it anyways and basically it worked - the card was recoognized in Windows and also Devices are working. Prtoblem is, that i will have Boot Problems. System will Stop with VGA POST and wont boot, only after a fews reboot i get it work work sometimes. So this is no option. As soon i remove the EX4 Card it worked normally.

in the comptaibility List of this card is written, i need to place the card in the bottom slot:
basically my board has not 2x PCIE GEN4 x4. the upper slot is PCIE GEN4 x4 and the lower slot is PCIE GEN4 x16 ( runs at x4) so do you guess i can get it work with the new card in the bottom slot?
