UEFI version 2613 dated 4/12/2024.
I have two G.Skill 32GB DDR5 Memory modules in slot 1 and 3.
If I move these modules to slot 2 and 4 my system will not boot (waited 30 mins) and just get a red light for CPU. I tried EXPO and Auto and even manual configuration, nothing worked in Slot 2 and 4.
If I try one memory module in slot 2, my system will NOT boot.
If I try one memory module in slot 4, my system will NOT boot.
If I try one memory module in slot 1, my system WILL boot.
If I try one memory module in slot 3, my system WILL boot.
If I try to fill all four slots 1-4 with the same G.Skill RAM (for 128GB total), my system will NOT boot.
The ONLY conclusion I can come to is that this motherboard is defective. However, when I tried to get warranty repair from ASUS, they refused to allow RMA for a return and said I could send it in for "repair" but it was be at my expense?
After doing some research, it seems (Gamer Nexus) there is a class action lawsuit in progress with ASUS and even US Federal government investigation. I would prefer to just have ASUS send me a new motherboard with RMA and I'll send this one back, but since ASUS refused RMA, what are my option? How do I get involved in this class action lawsuit?
These are the RAM modules:

Hello Rob, a few things you can try that might resolve your issue. First pull your RAM, and slightly loosen your CPU cooler, then reinstall RAM into slots A2 and B2. When reinstalling RAM confirm the center notch is lined up, then slowly insert module pushing down on side with the latch till it latches, then slowly push down on lower side till you hear a click,.. the latch side must latch first, then the other side must click for the module to be seated correctly.

Already done that multiple times with every combination possible. I have over 28 years experience building PCs. Slots A2 and B2 are most definitely dead ... ASUS support suggested I will have to pay for shipping and repairs even though my board is still under warranty?
I've added my voice to Steve at Gamer Nexus who's monitoring ASUS support/repair process and claims and let him know it doesn't appear much has changed at ASUS even after his interviews with key support staff at ASUS.
EDIT: I do have a good documentation trail and I've screenshot all responses from ASUS including my posts on this forum in case they get deleted.

Since ASUS aren't responding, I've moved on to MSI motherboards ... would have preferred EVGA but they aren't making them.

Hi @Rob_Ainscough
ASUS service don't frequent this section, you need to post in ROG Care. I've since moved the thread for you.
If you have any existing service case information, you can share this with them to see where exactly things were left off, and more importantly why customer service was claiming you'd need to pay for repair.
Most often, DIMM detection issues are due to CPU pin-pad contact and improper cooler mounting. Ensure the pin-pad is inspected and remount the CPU whilst ensuring consistent mounting pressure.
