Hello, @Weeyo.

The memory model you provided is indeed not listed in the memory QVL list for ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING, so there may be compatibility issues.
It is recommended that you use the memory listed in the QVL list to install it in the recommended slot on the motherboard (one module, please install it in DIMM_B2; two modules, please install them in DIMM_B2, A2).
Please refer to the link below as well.

Thank you.

AMD 500 series can certainly run 4 DIMM configs at 3600, but not every DDR4-3600 DIMM will just work.  Remember to select the correct CPU series at the top of the QVL, then look for entries which have "1,2,4" in the "socket support" column (or use the filters at the top to filter for 4).  "1,2" is 1 and 2 DIMM configs only; and "1,2,4" is 1, 2, or 4 DIMM configs.

Note also the general advice that it can be problematic to combine multiple kits of memory, due to minor variations in the silicon, and is generally better to use a single 4 DIMM kit than 2 separate 2 DIMM kits when overclocking.
