I flashed the OP file, works perfectly.
In the meantime, I learned that my way of building the image file for flashing was wrong, worked on the v12 firmware version, but not on the v14, so I now know the correct way.
Thank you @MoKiChU

Very strange

Hi,

Update your Intel MEI drivers before updating the Intel ME firmware : [DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/SATA (1xx/2xx/3xx/4xx)

Thanks for this. Latest ME firmware updated successfully on TUF GAMING z490-PLUS.

I'm confused the Check.cmd are not included in the download - can I see what FW I have in a other way?

Bios

@rstolpe1988:
Yes, you can check the firmware version without rebooting to BIOS, if you run this from the command-line in the same folder as the firmware update:
FWUpdLcl64.exe -FWVER

The "-FWVER" switch makes the update executable output the currently installed firmware version without changing anything.

does it matter if the driver doesn't match the firmware # IE as on my mother board support page
We suggest you update ME Driver to the latest Version 14.1.51.1528 simultaneously
and mine has 2047.100.0.1039 driver and Firmware : 14.1.53.1649 on a ROG MAXIMUS XII HERO (WI-FI) thanks

Hi,

It's a mistake from ASUS (there are no Intel MEI drivers with this 14.x.xx.xxxx syntax) :

- Latest Intel MEI drivers from your motherboard support page : 2047.100.0.1039 (contained in 2101.15.0.2080 package)
- Latest Intel MEI drivers from my Intel 1xx/2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx drivers thread : 2108.100.0.1053

- 2101.15.0.2080 Software & Drivers Package contains Intel MEI Driver and all the SWC imposed drivers (DAL, ICLS & LMS) but also 2 SWC drivers & 1 Ext drivers optional and unnecessary for most consumer users (SOL & WIMAN Ext+SWC) :

Drivers : 2047.100.0.1039 WHQL
DAL SoftwareComponent Driver : 1.40.2020.1130 WHQL
ICLS SoftwareComponent Driver : 1.62.321.1 WHQL
LMS SoftwareComponent Driver : 2049.0.9.0 WHQL
SOL SoftwareComponent Driver : 2042.0.13.0 WHQL
WIMAN Extension Driver : 2047.58.22.0 WHQL
WIMAN SoftwareComponent Driver : 2047.58.22.0 WHQL

- 2108.100.0.1053 Drivers Package (Drivers Only) that I offer contains Intel MEI Driver and only the SWC imposed drivers (DAL, ICLS & LMS) :

Drivers : 2108.100.0.1053 WHQL
DAL SoftwareComponent Driver : 1.41.2021.121 WHQL
ICLS SoftwareComponent Driver : 1.62.321.1 WHQL
LMS SoftwareComponent Driver : 2109.0.52.0 WHQL

Note : If you decide to switch to the packages that I offer, I advise you to do this :

- Uninstall Intel Management Engine Components from your apps installed (Start > Settings > Apps) then restart your PC
- Launch Driver Store Explorer > Check the boxes of all versions of these drivers .inf (if you find them) : heci.inf | dal.inf | dal_wc.inf | iclsclient.inf | lms.inf | wiman_wlan_extension.inf | wiman.inf | mesrl.inf
- Check the box "Force Deletion" then click on the "Delete Driver" button then restart your PC
- Download the Intel MEI drivers package from the first post of this thread : [DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/SATA (1xx/2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx)
- Follow the Install/Update Process

Hi, pls update Intel ME Consumer v14.1.65.1990 if it's already out. The corporate version is still out.
Version v14.1.65.1969 has a serious problem with boot loop when booting on the motherboard Maximus XII Hero with I9-10900K. Thank you very much.
