If you want better interrupts delivery latency

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter

Hi, I'm on a ROG Zephyrus M (GM501GM) chipset 300. I'm having troubles with the bundled audio drivers, not sure if my model is too old.
Shouldn't have any proprietary apo, no dolby, no dts. I remember it originally came with sonic studio, but I'd rather not have it.
I should have an ALC3288 (from notebookcheck images, didn't open mine yet), I tried "Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME RTK)", but I get a bsod at installation (3 attempts, old drivers cleaned properly). Is it the wrong package or is the model too old?
Thank you for your effort.

Hi,
I don't offer audio drivers packages for notebooks/laptops in order to focus on my field : DIY PC/Motherboards (hence the fact that my threads are in Motherboards category).
Please refer to your product support page to download the appropriate drivers for your product (if you have any issue with them, please contact ASUS Support).

Is it normal to have in Device Manager under sound tab, if i double click a sound device, under driver's tab to have shown that drivers was released by Microsoft, it should be Realtek, I have installed in programs and features Realtek Audio Driver entry... I want to make sure i have installed drivers properly... When I reinstall drivers, I have problem that I can't switch between audio inputs... And nothing helps except uninstall and reinstall drivers multiple times, because then it doesn't work even with default Windows drivers, no idea why this is happening... Most drivers don't work for me, it is random it somehow starts working randomly with some ASUS drivers, or default MS drivers after like 5 reinstalls or so...
Also I don't want Nahimic components as it can cause performance issues, maybe uninstalling these cause Realtek driver revert to Microsoft... Hard to tell, this whole driver thing is atrocious... Having this issue from very begging and even installing sonic studio, or a-volute which doesn't work usually and changing audio streams, or sources front and back panel, doesn't help... It is some bug...
I have ASUS z390-i gaming mobo.
I downloaded all ASUS drivers
In case I will want to reinstall audio drivers, in case of possible issues, what should I try to install? Or should i try to install drivers from here? Which are best! It is complicated by the bug that i can't switch audio streams and only randomly uninstalling and uninstalling drivers it start working suddenly with random drivers, or MS drivers again, but sometimes doesn't work even with default. So it is some bug.
I just want to make sure i have proper sound drivers installed instead MS ones, without Nahimic components!
Sorry for vehement writing i have crippling headaches...

Hi everyone,
For information, since this latest release Realtek has split the Realtek APO Driver into 2 versions depending on your operating system :

I did notice the older ones can't be removed as i have tried to in DriverStore Explorer and they spit out an error that somehow the older ones are stuck on my PC.

Have you selected Force Deletion on DriverStore Explorer ?
