Sonic Studio 3 Driver update causes Monster Hunter World to crash

I can't run Monster Hunter World anymore. When I attempt to run it, after 5 seconds of black screen, I am put back to the desktop with no errors raised. However, the Windows Event Viewer has the following under Application Logs:

Faulting application name: MonsterHunterWorld.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5fd9673d
Faulting module name: AudioDevProps2.dll, version: 2.6.4.0, time stamp: 0x60b0a9e5

Faulting package full name:
Faulting package-relative application ID:

There was an update to the audio drivers earlier this week that went on in the background and then presented me with a popup informing me of the update. It was possibly the 9th judging by the date on files in the C:\ProgramData\A-Volute\A-Volute.SonicStudio3\Modules\ScheduledModules\x64 directory.

When I replaced the "AudioDevProps2.dll" file with the version saved in the same subdirectory of the "C:\ProgramData\A-Volute\A-Volute.28054DF1F58B4" parent tree (which I guessed to be an archived version of the older drivers), Monster Hunter World started without issue, and with Audio.

So far I haven't detected issues with other software.

I was able to work around the issue by opening the Realtek Audio Console, and subsequently the Sonic Studio 3 application under "Speakers." I then went to "Advanced Mode" under "Sonic Studio" and turned on "Device Routing." Monster Hunter World appears under the listed Applications, and I set it to explicitly route across my HDMI cable which leads to a 5.1 Yamaha Receiver, and then from there to the TV. When I do this, MHW starts without issue.

The HDMI output is the default output for my sound in Windows, so I'm not sure why setting it explicitly resolves the issue. Doing so prior to the recent update was unnecessary.
