Motherboard keeps disappearing in Armory Crate software

Crasje

When I do a fresh install of the software, all my ROG hardware in Armoury crate. But within 2 weeks, my Mobo (Maximus IX Z690) will disappear from the software.

If I remove the software and reinstall, its back and functioning. At every BIOS or Armoury crate update, I hope it will be fixed, but I am always disappointed. Anyone have any experience with this? Suggestion (besides reinstalling the PC)?

Hello, @Crasje

May I ask if the situation you described happened after any changes were made? such as installing any other software (which may cause conflicts?) or removing or attaching any external device
Could you please confirm if you have resolved the issue of Armoury Crate not recognizing the ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme after two weeks of use by uninstalling and reinstalling Armoury Crate?
Are you currently able to successfully detect the motherboard within Armoury Crate?

Thank you.

Hello,

I am sorry, but no. After a reinstall or an update my Mobo is there, configurable. But in the passing of time, it disappears and is not visible anymore.

What I also notice is that:

- when I start my PC I usually have to unselect-select in AURO for items to synchonise

- I have the option to have no effects when the PC is off on the mobo, this is never the case. Even when my mobo is visible after an uninstall - reinstall.

To be quite honest, I have like 3000 euro of Rog hardware on this PC, had the same on my previous PC and have always been fighting AURA and now Armoury crate. Your hardware is amazing but the software is beyond frustrating. 😞
